Description

The Dep. General Manager is fully accountable for leading the business and is trusted to take accountability for its growth and success, with the support and guidance of the management. She is responsible for the business’s strategy, structure, budget, people and financial outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Propose, develop, review, update and implement a yearly business strategy and budget, in partnership with the Group CEO and Management Team
  • To ensure that the agreed yearly strategy is communicated to the wider team and is executed, within the agreed timescale.
  • To continually assess company performance and efficiency, to enable reassessment of the business strategy
  • Ability to project manage and take responsibility for all operational aspects of the business
  • Allocate resources strategically, to ensure business success and profitability
  • Ensure that outstanding childcare and education is delivered within the setting, at all times
  • Support with the development of the curriculum, in line with the vision for the business
  • Build and maintain a solid partnership with the Prime Minister’s Office
  • To diversify and develop new revenue streams, as and when required, to contribute to the growth and success of the business
  • Identify and execute opportunities for expansion, building sound businesses cases around this to ensure business growth, in line with the Chairman and CEO’s vision
  • Review and analyze company data, to determine the progress of the business towards agreed goals and objectives
  • To lead from the front, taking on all management duties, directing and supporting the team and creating a positive working environment for all
  • To maintain excellent open communication with the management and provide regular updates on the direction of the business and requesting any support that is needed
  • Ensuring company policies and procedures are embedded into all areas of the business, including HR, Finance and operational procedures
  • Be an expert within the sector, keeping abreast of industry trends and developments to ensure the business has a competitive advantage
  • Think creatively, address any concerns, and seek out solutions or required support.
  • Build a robust sales strategy and process, aimed at target customers to penetrate the market, and ensure business success
  • Collaborate with the group Marketing team, to form a strong marketing plan to ensure competitive advantage
  • Drive global and regional partnerships to further enhance the brand value proposition and academic rigor
  • Develop corporate partnerships with select organizations, to grow enrolment numbers

Requirements:

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree & Master’s degree in education with minimum 5 years of experience   in managing early year education centers.
- Previous teaching experience
- Catch-5 credential.
- ADEK regulations awareness and other related authorities.

Special knowledge/ Skills:
- Proven senior management experience, within the sector
- Entrepreneurial approach to business
- Strong leadership, influencing and negotiation skills
- Financial and business strategy fluency
