QA/QC Manager- Civil

The QA/QC Manager must have the ability to communicate well at all levels within the Company and to demonstrate leadership. In addition, the candidate must possess very good planning, presentation, negotiations and organizational skills, the vision to identify quality
improvement opportunities and the ability to achieve results through motivation and team working. The candidate should demonstrate a sound experience in the execution of all phases in a typical Contract for high-class Civil Building facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the establishment of a fully documented project quality system in line with the Contract requirements and ISO 9001:2015 covering Procurement, Construction and Pre-/Commissioning.
• Ensure that work is carried out fully in accordance with the project quality standards specified in the Contract and that the procedures laid down in the Project Quality Plan to achieve these standards are followed.
• Establishing and monitoring KPI’s for all project execution phases
• Maintain a project quality audit schedule to ensure effectiveness of the project quality system.
• Liaising with Client’s/Owner’s QA/QC team and the Consultant assigned to the project.
• Keep close liaison with the Owner with regards to all site QA/QC issues during all phases of project execution.
• Check purchase and sub-contract requisitions and evaluate vendor’s and Sub-Contractor’s quotation regarding inspection matters, as applicable.

Requirements:

• 15 years working experience with at least 10 years in QC Engineer/Manager post in civil/building projects.
• BSc Engineering or equivalent
• Candidates must have Civil Engineering background
• ISO 9001:2015 qualified
