Description
Project Manager will be responsible for managing the construction team to ensure delivery of the project is on time and within budget for a heavily mechanical oil and gas project. He will need to build credibility, respectful partnerships with Clients and EPC Contractors and apply rigorous and disciplined approaches to his team whilst delivering the project.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 20 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry in major projects
- Proven experience in managing EPC/EPCM Offshore or onshore Oil & Gas projects from engineering through construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Extensive Gulf/Middle East experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, cost control, contract administration, risk management, and project execution.
- Sound understanding of offshore construction methodologies, fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with international Oil & Gas standards and HSE regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of project execution to ensure delivery within approved budget, schedule, quality, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and client interface activities.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to achieve project objectives.
- Manage project resources, subcontractors, and vendors effectively.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company procedures, industry standards, and HSE regulations.
- Provide regular project performance updates to senior management and clients.
- Identify project risks and opportunities and implement mitigation measures.
